Glass and Ceramic Work

In the past few weeks we have done quite a lot.  I have:

Mixed engobe and glaze, which were then tested - engobe, fire, glaze, fire.

Finished my hand building for Jari - A 4 part modular peice that has 2 bowls (outer, mother), a cup (inner, father) and a baby figure.  They have been painted with engobe, fired, glazed and are in for firing again.  For Jari's class, we also created a plaster mould for a tile to allow me to create the same tile again multiple times (photo to be added).

Made and glazed 2 large and 1 small tiles for Merja, along with making a 10x10 pot and mug with handle in throwing class (photo to be added).

Cut various peices for glass, including a plate which has been fused and is now in for slumping.

Made a final piece for Maria that uses techniques such as adding bubbles to the inside and shaping (photos to be added).
